FUNNY GAMES FROM MY HIGHSCHOOL(EGBON,DUNDUS,COMMAND)

Everybody i know attended a secondary/High school,and it is most likely that everybody you know attended a secondary/high school  ,everybody may have gone to high school but we did not pass through it the same way ,we all don’t have the same stories ,So i want to share with you some experiences i experienced in high school (lol) During our younger days in school  ,I and my classmates participated in different Social Games ,Most of which were Cruel and Barbaric ,But it doesn’t matter because we are Black. To Participate in These  Games we usually have to make a bet ,it wasn’t much of a bet more like an agreement ,i don’t know why we even called it a bet .we would make an agreement that we would participate in a particular game  ,Some of  which you might even know , Games like  ,” Dundus ,Command and Egbon ”

DUNDUS

Pronounced ” d-ooo-n-duuuus ” or something like that,it  was probably the most barbaric of the games ,it went like this

”When you make a bet with someone for the game DUNDUS  ,whenever you want to seat down on a chair of anykind you must tell the person you bet with ”DUNDUS” ,unless the person has every right to KNOCK you on the head ,as many times as he likes until you say DUNDUS or Get up ”

it can be fun hitting someone else Head with your fist ,but when you get Hit ,its not so Fun .

it seems pretty simple ,say dundus before you sit down ,the problem is ,You have to remember .And things Get waaaaaayyy complicated when you bet with more than one person ,some boys would bet with all the other boys in their class  and every time they sat down ,they had to tell each and everyone ”Dundus”  ,Unless they get will Hit.

Most people usually hunt for Victims after Lunch break ,when everybody had played away their time ,usually forgetting about the Dundus game ,And once you sit down After lunch break without telling your classmates Dundus ,its the End of your mental functions for that day ,they call it a Gang up ,you would not even see it coming, four or five people would just pounce on your head and Knock the Hella out of it .and you can’t do anything about it, you just have to suck it up like this

Another problem is when you sit down while the people you bet with are not around you ,so there would be no way you could tell them ” Dundus ”,some people will be waiting at the Cafeteria for other people to go and sit down in the Classes ,some may even HIDE behind the desks because they hate you probably because you stole their pen .there are Strategic ways to get people to sit down without saying Dundus let me give you an example

a girl will pull a boy and tell him she wants to talk to him and that he should come sit near her,the boy would be like

the Unexpectant boy now in the zone can not possibly remember to tell the other boys ”dundus” Immediately he sits down ,some other boys from nowhere would just come and disassemble his head ,he wount even be able to do anything the embarrassment would be killer ,and the girl he was about to chat with would be laughing at him would he look at the girl and he would be like

Betting with more than one person in your class may seem complicated ,but it is not as complicated as betting with multiple people from Other classes,because you can never tell them dundus before you sit down ,you can only hope to catch them before they knock you on the head ,it was a cruel game but it was fun when it was not played on your head .

Command

yes the name of the Game is ”command” ,you might have guessed it has something to do with commands ,it goes like this

”when you bet Command with another person you must cross any part of your body (usually your fingers ) unless the person you bet with can say the words ”Command” and have the Authority to tell you to do anything ,yes anything ”

so you had to keep some part of your body crossed at all times ,it really isn’t that simple you had to remember and also there was the case of ”Double crossing” when you cross two parts of your body (e.g Fingers and legs) they cancel each other and you would be open to be Commanded .

the commands range from slapping a teacher to kneeling down on the floor

there is this Particular command i remember very well  to this day ,i would share it

okay like my Highschool was catholic so they believed in hard work ,so after each day some students were supposed to clean the classroom ,it was the most annoying thing ,nobody liked cleaning ,but it was obligatory ,everybody had their own day of cleaning . it was a friday i was tired but it wasn’t my turn to clean the class ,i was so happy that i was going home to rest for the weekend ,as i was about to step out the door to my class ,this big headed nigga named Dennis caught me without my hands crossed ,he quickly said ”Command” and there and then i had to do whatever he said , i asked him what he wanted me to do ,he did not reply he just smiled ,he kept on smiling ,i looked towards the cleaning roster then it hit me ,his name was written down as part of today’s cleaners . he kept smiling ,i hoped he would not tell me to clean up in his place . he just kept smiling like this

then he said ”Jump off the this floor to the ground ”

and i was like

and he was like ,you ”you heard me right ,jump off the floor”

our class was on the second floor ,meaning if i jumped off the floor i would die

but how can i commit suicide because of a game ,but i had no choice ,i told everybody my last goodbyes and jumped off the second floor ,

I died that day ,it was sad .

yes i am dead and gone ,i scheduled this post 2 days before i jumped off the second floor ,and yes i predicted my own death .

EGBON

there is this last game i remember ,it was called Egbon ,mainly poor people played this game ,yes i said it was played by poor people ,this is the Original ”hunger game” .it went like this

”if you bet ”Egbon” with a person  you have the power to take anything you like from the person provided you knock it out from their hands unto to the floor then say ”egbon ” .

money was the most common thing that was ”Egboned” . if i saw you licking an ice cream and i wanted you to suffer ,i could just sneak up to you ,slap it out of your hand and say ”Egbon” .you cant do shit to me.

Just imagine after a long day ,you use your last change to buy that bottle of cool refreshing Fanta ,then a bloke comes out out of nowhere and Knocks it out of your hands to the floor and you cant so shit to him ,the anger would not allow you to end the game ,you would want to get back ,thats why these games were so successful.

Just imagine you were in an examination hall and you forgot to bring your biro and you can’t leave the hall again ,all you have to do hit a pen out of a nigga’s hand and say ”Egbon”  and collect the biro .you would be like

Okay so those were the Games and the moral of this post is Jokes ,that can’t be a moral ,this is the actual moral of the story
